Board of Trustees
Title 53C of the Utah code establishes the School and Institutional Trust Lands Board of Trustees. Six members are appointed by the Governor for six-year terms. The Governor makes the appointments from a list of nominees supplied to him from a nominating committee. The 11-member nominating committee is comprised primarily of public school and higher education representatives. Other members are appointed by user groups.
